How do I know whether what I perceive as communication from the other side is real or simply my imagination?
It can be difficult to tell the difference, but over the years I have developed a strict discipline that has helped me navigate this situation. I must be absolutely clear within myself; otherwise I risk sharing inaccurate information that could confuse or upset my clients or those who consult with me. It took time to learn to trust my instincts and to distinguish between my own thoughts and what was being impressed upon me from the other side. Essentially, it is a delicate process because I have to ensure I am listening to the correct ‘voice’. My helpers on the other side usually assist me with this.
It took time to build mutual trust between my helpers and me. I had to go through some difficult challenges to show I could be trusted. Equally, I needed to learn to trust them, and coming from a painful background, I found it very difficult to trust anyone at first. They understood and were patient as we gradually built a relationship of mutual trust over the years.
I now sense a fatherly energy from my communicator, who has helped me, as well as everyone who has consulted with me for healing. Sometimes I hear his voice when he addresses me and calls me ‘Son’. When I realised who he was, I came to regard his calling me ‘Son’ as a great honour.
The ability itself is impressive, but it is only a small fragment of the bigger picture. The real work happens behind the scenes, in the preparation for the service itself. There is no room for error. I have a profound responsibility to the people who consult with me, and their well-being is paramount at every level.
