Some people make it their mission to ridicule you and dismiss the otherworldly experiences you share, attributing them to dreams or simply your imagination. This can be frustrating and confusing, especially when the person reacting this way is someone you least expect. We all have close friends or family members we feel comfortable sharing every aspect of our lives with because we trust them. Yet, when they are confronted with something that falls beyond their understanding, their reaction may be quite different from what we anticipated, and sometimes even shocking.

Very few people are willing to cross that boundary, step outside their comfort zone, and keep an open mind when faced with something that challenges their own beliefs. Sadly, many friendships and relationships have been compromised as a result. It is a pity, especially when everything was perfectly fine until the paranormal came up.

In my opinion, a relationship shouldn’t suffer because of differences in belief. The best approach is for both parties to reach a compromise, agree to disagree, and continue to respect one another, even if they cannot share the same views.

I have many friends and family members who neither agree with me nor share my beliefs. I don’t try to convince them I am right, and they don’t try to prove me wrong. We are mature enough to recognise that there is little point in sacrificing a valuable relationship over a pointless disagreement. Perhaps one day they will discover the truth for themselves, or perhaps they never will. Either way, I value them just the same.

You are entitled to believe whatever you wish, just as others are entitled to hold their own beliefs. No need for conflict, resentment, or frustration. Ultimately, such disagreements are insignificant in the grand scheme of things.

Truth is like the sun. Clouds may obscure it for a while, but sooner or later, it will inevitably shine through.
