The time will come when we all have to bid farewell to a loved one. The challenge is to find the inner strength to support them, so that we can help make their transition as peaceful and gentle as possible.

To our loved ones, it makes little difference whether we are physically present at the time of their passing. They are never truly alone. Loved ones from the other side would be there to accompany them. In fact, many may prefer to be alone, as this can place less emotional strain on them than being surrounded by grieving loved ones.

The transition is a sacred spiritual journey into a world of immeasurable warmth, love, and wonder. What we experience on this side of life as a profound and painful loss is celebrated on the other side as a reunion.

I always remind my clients that they should never feel guilty if they were unable to be present when a loved one passed away. They should not carry that guilt, because it serves no good purpose and is ultimately unnecessary. Life is for living, so free yourself from guilt and enjoy every moment.

This is what the other side wants for all of us: not tears or regret, but fulfilment and joy.
