Isn’t it fascinating how time seems to stop at the precise moment of someone’s passing? I have read remarkable accounts of watches and clocks suddenly ceasing to tick, including digital clocks. Even more mysterious is the suggestion that this phenomenon can occur at a distance, far from the person who has passed away. Out of curiosity, I have tried to unravel this puzzle, yet I have not found a meaningful explanation.
Someone once suggested that perhaps it is the other side telling us that the time has come for the departed to leave this world. Perhaps that is so. Could it be that some form of energy is released, either by the person who has passed away or by loved ones from the other side, who cross into our realm to welcome them?
The expression “time stood still” is a figurative way of describing a moment so powerful, whether through shock, profound emotion, or extraordinary beauty, that the world around us seems to come to a standstill.
But could there be more to this expression than meets the eye? Might we, on this side of life, somehow be responsible for clocks stopping at a precise moment, perhaps through an intense burst of energy that affects their mechanisms?
Perhaps the answers are right before our eyes, waiting to be discovered. Until then, we can only wonder, for perhaps, in the end, only time will tell.
