Is it true that everyone who crosses over will be met by a loved one on the other side? What if the person is a loner or estranged from their family and loved ones? Who, if anyone, would be there to welcome them?
Contrary to common belief, we are never truly alone, in life or beyond. When we pass, someone will always be there to meet us on the other side. This presence may not be someone we expect, but they will come with a sincere desire to help and to reconcile. I believe that the initial stages of our transition are crucial, and those who meet us are specially suited to guide us into the Light—the healing Light. Reflecting on the remarkable people I’ve met in this life, I imagine that some kind and loving souls, even those who were victimized and have since passed, might choose to be there to meet those who wronged them, extending a hand as a step toward healing for all involved.
But what if someone doesn’t want to be met by anyone? What happens then? Perhaps our free will is honored, even in this realm. If someone wishes to be alone, I believe that their choice will likely be respected. However, I cannot say whether a beloved pet would honor the same wish, as our animal companions often greet us with boundless joy and excitement upon reuniting.
It is immensely comforting to know that no one is truly left out on the other side, even if they’ve experienced loneliness or isolation in this life. In one way or another, they are met with care, connection, and the potential for healing.
