Some people seem to foresee their own deaths. Some even claim to know the exact time, date, and manner of their passing. Several of my clients have told me that their loved ones were remarkably accurate in predicting their deaths, describing details that later proved impossible to refute.

My own mother, a woman of strong intuition, had a premonition about her own death. She sensed that her time on this earth was coming to an end and made her preparations accordingly. Despite being in good health when I last saw her, she seemed to have a quiet acceptance of her fate. I remember kissing her goodbye and telling her I would see her again very soon, but she shook her head, a silent disagreement that spoke volumes.

How do our loved ones know, well in advance, that they are going to pass away? Do they receive a message or a vision? Could it come in a dream? This mystery has puzzled both believers and sceptics, and we continue to struggle to make sense of it. Some dismiss it as a coincidence, yet they cannot easily explain the accuracy of specific details, precise dates and times shared before death. What is also intriguing is that, in every story shared with me, the person who knows of their impending passing seems remarkably calm, even indifferent. Strangely enough, they are at peace, which can be a source of comfort in the face of such a profound mystery.

How would you react if you were told when you would die? What steps would you take to prepare? Would you want to know when and how it will happen? And if you did know, would it change the way you live your life?
