Could we envision a future where the subject of the paranormal is part of the school curriculum? Wouldn’t it be ideal to educate children that much of life remains inexplicable? Perhaps this perspective could help them stay open to possibilities outside conventional norms. If we are adequately prepared for life’s beauty and challenges, we may become better equipped to overcome our fear of the unknown.
One of my clients, an educator, fully supports bringing greater awareness into the classroom. She has taken bold, yet gentle steps to introduce the concept of life after death to her students. To her surprise, they have responded with remarkable receptivity. In fact, the idea has brought them a sense of reassurance that the loss of their loved ones may not be so final. While her school administration might not approve of this approach, she feels strongly that it is time for honesty. She told me she could no longer live as a hypocrite, denying what she believes to be true.
The truth cannot be concealed forever; eventually, it reveals itself despite any attempts to suppress it. The world is evolving rapidly. Despite the many global challenges, a powerful wave of positivity and enlightenment is spreading. While not always immediately visible or widely appreciated, this shift is already underway.
Forty years ago, I would never have dared to reveal my beliefs so openly. Today, I no longer hesitate. I speak freely, and most reactions are surprisingly positive, especially from those in the scientific community, which is both ironic and encouraging.
While volunteering in palliative care in London hospitals, I witnessed firsthand how much the National Health Service in the UK has evolved. Today, patients can request the presence of spiritual healers without objection from hospital staff. Legislation now supports the right of patients to receive spiritual care. This marks a profound shift from the attitudes of a century ago, when individuals could be punished for engaging in spiritual or metaphysical practices.
The world is indeed changing, and in many ways, it is unfolding as it should. Our task is to stay open and ahead and embrace the brighter future that truth and awareness will inevitably bring.
