I sometimes write articles that challenge certain ‘spiritual’ practices and superstitions. My views are entirely my own and are based on more than forty years of personal experience as a reader, healer, and exorcist. I do not base my opinions on the beliefs or views of others. Instead, they are shaped by information I receive from the other side, particularly through my communicator, who has played a significant role in my spiritual development and awakening.

Today, I will address the practice of burning sage to cleanse physical spaces of negative energy.

I have never burned sage for this purpose, nor do I see myself doing so in the future. The only time I have used sage has been in cooking. I have never been able to understand how smoke from burning sage could affect energies that, in my view, resonate at frequencies beyond our own and therefore exist in a different dimension of reality. Even if the smoke were somehow able to reach these energies, why would it have any effect on them?

Some cultures also believe that loud noises, such as clapping, making noise with pots and pans, or setting off firecrackers, can drive away negative spirits. In my experience, this is equally ineffective. Such entities are not affected by these actions. If anything, they may find them amusing and respond by increasing the level of disturbance.

What has consistently worked for me are faith, willpower, mental strength, and visualisation.

Faith must be genuine and heartfelt. When you pray, your words should come from the heart rather than from a mechanical recitation or endless repetition. A simple, sincere prayer can be remarkably powerful when offered with genuine conviction.

Willpower and mental strength are equally important. In these situations, I remain completely focused on achieving a positive outcome because I believe, without any doubt, that God’s will shall prevail.

Visualisation is another essential tool. It enables me to fill a space with white and golden light, which strengthens my ability to counter what I perceive as an attack or intrusion. Developing this ability required considerable mental training and discipline. Maintaining a clear, focused mental image amid intense spiritual pressure is not easy, but it is a skill that can be cultivated through dedication and practice.
