Have you ever marvelled at the diverse nature of NDEs? Each one paints a unique picture of the afterlife. A Westerner might envision familiar scenes like cities or cars, while a Bedouin might find themselves in the desert. An African, on the other hand, might be surrounded by huts, jungles, or wildlife reserves. It’s a fascinating tapestry of perceptions.
Some people report seeing loved ones. Others do not, but instead encounter wise or advanced souls. Some even see religious figures, including Christ. Certain people only hear or feel but do not see, while others experience different combinations of sensory impressions. Each NDE is unique to the individual, and this raises the question: Is the other side truly like this, or do we perceive it through our own filters? Do we have our own individual realities, or do we share a single collective reality?
If reality on the other side is uniform, then what would be the common element that connects people of every culture, religion, age, and civilisation? The other side reflects the worlds we know here, allowing each of us to choose what we call home. Perhaps we have been overthinking it, and the truth is far simpler than we imagine.
Whatever the other side may be, the most consistent theme is love. Many describe it as a love so vast and immense that it feels beyond words. For me, that is what truly defines home.
Dear reader, may love find its way to your heart today and fill you with warmth and joy.
