When our physical body dies, what happens to us as we transition? Do we possess a body on the other side, or do we exist without form?

From what I have come to understand, we do have a body, one that is not entirely unlike the one we inhabit now. It appears younger and free from the ailments and limitations that burden us in this life. The body we possess on the other side is capable of feeling and sensing, much as we do in dreams, yet without lasting pain or injury. If someone has suffered from a disability in this life, for example the loss of a limb, that person would be restored to wholeness. However, if one wished to appear as one once did, that too would be a personal choice.

Would we still experience sensations such as touch, a kiss, or an embrace? According to this understanding, we would. Sensations are felt as vividly as they are on Earth. What of eating and drinking? Though no longer necessary for survival, food and drink may exist for pleasure and fellowship.

There is also the intriguing idea that those who dwell on the other side can, at times, influence the physical world. They may be able to move or lift objects, or perform other acts that seem impossible to us. Such possibilities challenge our limited understanding of the relationship between the material and the immaterial. They suggest that existence beyond death is not a diminished state, but a fuller one.

When we are reunited on the other side, we may be whole, emotionally, mentally, and physically.

I think of it as Life Part Two…
