I often get asked if I mourn when a loved one passes like everybody else. Some people are intrigued to learn how I cope with my experience and knowledge of the other side.
I mourn just like anyone else and maybe hurt more on some occasions. Without a shadow of a doubt, I believe that our loved ones survive death and are in a good place on the other side. However, the bottom line is that they are no longer physically around me, which is the part that pains me, just like everyone else.
Linking with spirit is not the same as sending a friend a text or calling them to say hi. The dynamics are different on the other side. Indeed, we don’t lose them, but some of us will forever miss their physical presence in our lives; this makes us human.
