A common question I often hear comes from people who lost a husband or wife, remarried, and now wonder which partner they will be with on the other side.
On the other side, earthly commitments cease to exist, as they are no longer necessary. Insecurity, control, possessiveness, and power struggles, all human traits, are left behind. Instead, we find ourselves in a state of harmony, united in a way that eliminates negative feelings. We are enveloped in pure, unconditional love at a higher level, and no one is left feeling disadvantaged in any way.
One of the most liberating aspects of the afterlife is our freedom to choose our companions. We have the power to decide who we want to be with and who we’d rather avoid. Toxic individuals are naturally kept at bay, and no one can cause us harm. Meanwhile, our loved ones, who have departed before us, eagerly await our arrival, ready to greet us and welcome us home.
Another question people ask is, “What if I were adopted? Which parents would I be linked to on the other side?” The essence of our connections is love. We are bound to those we love and those who love us, regardless of our biological connections. What is truly beautiful is that love is the central force in the afterlife. I often wish it were the same in this life, because I can only imagine how much better our world would be if it were so.
